I wanted to like it. The art is pretty and the synopsis was promising…but the story doesn’t deliver. The political intrigue plot-line going through the entire story is weak and rushed. The characters surrounding the FM and ML are flat and predictable. And the couple’s romance is so rushed I’d consider it insta-love which I’m personally not a fan of. If you’re looking for a simple, to-the-point love story with a dabble of political intrigue, you might enjoy this. Otherwise, I’d recommend a different story. Unfortunately, this wasn’t for me.
